This prom season, the Connecticut Alliance of Foster and Adoptive Families (CAFAF) will give 150 foster and adoptive girls and boys  statewide a night of their dreams. In doing so, CAFAF is having the "Avenue of Dreams" Prom Dress, Makeup, Accessory, and Tuxedo Drive from now until March 2, 2018.

Connecticut Alliance of Foster and Adoptive Families, Inc. (CAFAF) is a statewide nonprofit organization providing training, advocacy, and support services to foster and adoptive parents in Connecticut. Each year, CAFAF hosts the "Avenue of Dreams," where foster and adopted teens can enjoy a prom inspired day with their foster, adoptive or legal families. The girls are provided with free makeovers and select from an array of dresses, shoes and accessories. This year is the first year the CAFAF is opening this event to males as well! Each boy will receive a free tuxedo jackets, suit pants, vests, ties and shoes. Both boys and girls will be invited to attend motivational workshops geared towards fulfilling their dreams! At the end of the event, both girls and boys will receive a portrait, taken by a professional photographer and a gift bag filled with a variety of products.

This year the Middlesex YMCA has partnered with the CAFAF to host a continuous donation drive from now until March 2, 2018.

Donations can be dropped off at the Middlesex YMCA anytime during regular business hours.
