DAY CAMP

2R1A0510.jpg

Session Availability:

We are extremely excited to start another summer of camp at Ingersoll in two months. Currently, all traditional camps have sessions available for at least one session. Traditional camps offer the most well rounded camp experience. All campers receive swim lessons every morning (morning swim for Olders is geared towards engagement and getting them in the water) and free swim every afternoon, one specialty area a day, campfire/marshmallow Fridays. and more! Some specialty camps are still available but they are limited. Please call 860-342-2267 for registration assistance.

*NEW FOR 2025*
We are happy to announce two new camps in 2025: Disc Golf and Volleyball for 14-15 year old campers.

  • Utilizing funding provided by the Kehl Family, we have built the Kehl Family Disc Golf Course. This 18 basket course will allow our Olders Skill Clinics as well as the Disc Golf Camp to practice and hone their skills throughout the summer.

  • Volleyball for 14-15 yrs (CIT age) campers will be offered session 2 this summer. If your CIT aged camper wants some variety this summer while sharpening their skills for the upcoming school year, register for Volleyball!

FAMILY NIGHT DATES
Family nights are a wonderful way to connect families to camp while meeting counselors and spending quality time as a family. All of our Family Nights are Open Camp Nights. This means the waterfront, boating, high ropes, and archery are all open. Almost all of our counselors are available to meet and talk to during this night, but sometimes counselors do have to work a second job or have prior obligations. Family Night dates are:

WHAT WE DO AT CAMP

Our camp day consists of eight 45 minute periods shared among swim lessons, specialty areas, lunch, free swim, and counselor-planned activities. All groups visit one specialty area a day. Trained facilitators lead each area in fun and engaging activities to promote skill and character development. Swim lessons take place every morning for Traditional Camps and a few Specialty Camps.

After lunch, every group participates in free swim. Campers can choose to swim or play in the recreation area. Counselor-led camp games and activities are based on age, interest, and availability in the schedule. Feel free to ask your camper's counselor about the weekly schedule when you receive your second-day phone call!
