How much does an Outdoor Center Membership cost?

Outdoor Center Memberships are only $25!
What are the Hours of Operation?

YMCA Camp Ingersoll Outdoor Center is open for members to use *12 months a year from sunrise to sunset; **with the exception of the day camp season. **

In order to provide a safe and secure setting for our day camp program, we ask our members to stay off the property Monday-Friday during the day camp season; defined as June 16th – August 22rd from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. *

Members can only be on the water when the waterfront is open and certified YMCA lifeguards are on duty: If it is reserved for a party

While available for your use year-round, we are unable to provide staff in the winter and there is no indoor space to use at this time.
Can I bring a guest?

​There is a $5 guest fee for each guest that must be paid upon arrival. Guests must be accompanied by a member.
Can I use waterfront for swimming & boating?
-
Members can no longer use the waterfront for swimming and boating which is why the cost was decreased from $250 to $25
Is fishing allowed?
-
The Ingersoll Fishing Season runs in conjunction with the state-wide timelines.

Fishing is a catch & release program and is prohibited from boats, canoes, waterfronts, docks and/or on the ice.
What activities are available?
Families have the opportunity to PLAY:

Basketball,

Frisbee,

Soccer,

Wiffle ball,

Volleyball,
-
Tag, and various other outdoor games.
Families can also ENJOY

Mountain Bike
-
Go fishing
-
Picnic
-
Build sandcastles / play in the sand

Equipment:

Helmets must be worn for ANY person on a bike, scooter, roller blades, roller skates, unicycles, and the like.

Sport equipment is located in ball racks beside the courts. Families bring their own equipment as well. Please return all equipment to the racks when you are finished using it.

You are allowed to fish all year round at Camp Ingersoll and are not required to have a license. However, we you must practice Catch and Release as an OC Member and you can only fish on solid ground when the waterfront is not open (sand, grass, gravel, NO DOCKS)
Where do we park?

Main Office (front or back)
Parking is available either in front of or behind the Main Office.

Behind the Kiddy Camp Building
To access this lot, drive past the Main Office. Across from the courts—and just before heading down the hill toward the waterfront—you will see a split-rail fence and an Outdoor Center parking sign on your right. Parking is available in this area.

Waterfront Area
To park at the waterfront, drive past the Kiddy Camp building and continue down the hill toward the pond. At the bottom of the hill, turn left, then take your next right toward the Waterfront. Please park in front of the fence near the Outdoor Center parking sign.
​Can we camp overnight?

​No, we do not offer overnight stays at this time.
Can we bring our bicycles?

​Yes, Helmets must be worn for ANY person on a bike,
scooter, roller blades, roller skates, unicycles,
and the like.
Can we bring our dogs?

Yes, the rules stated for dog owners will be strictly enforced.
Dog owners must follow all rules stated above as well as the following: -
Dogs MUST be kept on a leash and under control at all times.

Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
