

General Rules

The YMCA Camp Ingersoll Outdoor Center is an alcohol, drug and smoke-free facility.

All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please print out your parking pass and put in your windshield while parking at camp.

Please be caring and respectful to all other members.
-
Discard all trash in proper containers.

Please keep off of waterfronts when lifeguards are not on duty.

Motorized vehicles are prohibited (ATV’s, snowmobiles and dirt bikes).

Please park vehicles in the lots only; keep all vehicles off the grass and access roads at all times.

There is a $5 guest fee for each guest that must be paid upon arrival. Guests must be accompanied by a member.

Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults must be present when their children are swimming.

The Ingersoll Fishing Season runs in conjunction with the state-wide timelines.

Fishing is a catch & release program and is prohibited from boats, canoes, waterfronts, docks and/or on the ice.

Members can only be on the water when the waterfront is open and certified YMCA lifeguards are on duty:

Wednesday & Friday evenings 6pm-8pm (June 21 - August 16)
- Saturday & Sunday 10am-6pm (May 27 - September 3)

Dates and Hours of Operation
YMCA Camp Ingersoll Outdoor Center is open for members to use *12 months a year from sunrise to sunset; **with the exception of the day camp season. **In order to provide a safe and secure setting for our day camp program, we ask our members to stay off the property Monday-Friday during the day camp season; defined as June 12th – August 18th from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
* While available for your use year-round, we are unable to provide staff in the winter and there is no indoor space to use at this time.
Swimming and Boating
Swimming and boating is available on the weekends from 10 AM - 6 PM starting Saturday, May 27 and ending Sunday, September 3. Swimming and Boating is available on Wednesday and Friday nights from 6 PM - 8 PM starting Wednesday, June 21 and ending Wednesday, August 16.
Parking
Families may park in three different locations:
1. In front of or behind the Main Office
2. Behind the Kiddy Camp building

Drive past the Main Office

Across from the courts and before going down the hill the waterfront there is a split rail fence and an Outdoor Center parking sign on your right.
3. At the waterfront

Drive past the Kiddy Camp building

Follow the hill down to the pond

Take a left at the bottom of the hill and you next right to the Waterfront

Please park in front of the fence by the Outdoor Center parking sign.
Please use the designated Parking.
Activities
Families have the opportunity to PLAY:

Basketball,

Frisbee,
-
Soccer,
-
Wiffle ball,
-
Volleyball,
-
Tag, and various other outdoor games.
Families can also ENJOY:

Mountain biking,
-
Fishing,
-
Picnicking,
-
Camping overnight (permit required: $5),

Building sandcastles / Playing in the sand, and
-
Using the waterfront (swimming and boating) during the open times described above.
We also plan to issue a schedule of drop-in enrichment activities that will add value to your OC membership. These will include:

Swim lessons,
-
Archery,
-
Hikes and campfires, and more.
There will be a charge associated with the general public, but OC Members will have free entry.
Equipment:

Helmets must be worn for ANY person on a bike, scooter, roller blades, roller skates, unicycles, and the like.

Sport equipment is located in ball racks beside the courts. Families bring their own equipment as well. Please return all equipment to the racks when you are finished using it.

You are allowed to fish all year round at Camp Ingersoll and are not required to have a license. However, we you must practice Catch and Release as an OC Member and you can only fish on solid ground when the waterfront is not open (sand, grass, gravel, NO DOCKS).
Rules & Regulations for Dog Owners
The rules stated for dog owners will be strictly enforced. Dog owners must follow all rules stated above as well as the following:

Dogs MUST be kept on a leash and under control at all times.

Dog owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dog.
