YMCA Camp Ingersoll Outdoor Center – General Guidelines
General Rules
-
Camp Ingersoll is an alcohol-, drug-, and smoke-free facility.

All memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
-
Please be caring, respectful, and dispose of trash properly.

Motorized vehicles (ATVs, snowmobiles, dirt bikes) are prohibited.
-
Park only in designated lots; do not drive or park on the grass or access roads.

Guests must be accompanied by a member; a $5 guest fee is required upon arrival.

Fishing is catch-and-release and follows statewide seasons. Fishing is allowed only from solid ground (sand, grass, gravel). No fishing from boats, canoes, docks, waterfronts, or ice.

The Outdoor Center is open year-round from sunrise to sunset, except during day camp season (June – August) when member access is restricted Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM for camper safety.

During winter, facilities remain available, but no staff or indoor spaces are provided.
Swimming & Boating

Not available to Outdoor Center Members beginning 1/1/2025.

The waterfront may still be reserved for parties.
Parking
Families may park in any of these designated locations:

In front of or behind the Main Office
-
Behind the Kiddy Camp building (look for the split-rail fence and OC parking sign before the hill to the waterfront)

Fishing Beach area (drive past Kiddy Camp and down the hill toward the pond; park facing the beach)
Please use only designated parking areas.
Activities
Families are welcome to play:

Basketball, Frisbee, Soccer, Wiffle Ball, Volleyball, Tag, and other outdoor games.
Families can enjoy:

Mountain biking (helmets required)

Fishing (catch & release)
-
Picnicking
-
Building/play in sand
-
Disc golf
Equipment:
-
Helmets are required for bikes, scooters, rollerblades, skates, unicycles, and similar equipment.

Families must bring their own equipment and return any borrowed items to the racks when finished.
Dog Policies
Dog owners must follow all general rules plus the following:

Dogs must be on a leash and under control at all times.
-
Owners must clean up after their dogs.
