YOUTH SPORTS & ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS
The Middlesex YMCA offers a wide variety of Youth Sports programs as well as other enriching activities such as Archery, Fishing, Lego Construction and Judo among others. We work hard to create a fun and inviting atmosphere from the moment your child enters the class. Once your child is comfortable, our teachers will continue to provide enriching activities which emphasize personal growth, not just the advancement of skills.
Program with a Purpose
Develop Self Confidence: Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and are helped, by their teachers, to create a risk free environment. Every class includes achievable objectives that all the participants can reach.
Practice Social Skills: Receiving a "Good Job" compliment from the teacher can be very exciting, but giving a peer a "Way to Go!" cheer can be a new social experience. Children are encouraged and assisted in interacting with each other and making new friends.
Learn New Skills: Our youth activities are led by experienced professionals. Activities are age and developmentally appropriate while progressing throughout the lessons.
Have Fun: Many times the activities are so much fun your children won't know they are developing their skills simultaneously. Youth activities are about participation and exposure to new experiences. Your children will always leave the YMCA with a smile on their faces.

Saturday Classes: November 6th - December 11th (Makeup class Dec 18th if needed)
Parent and Me Sports! (3 years olds): Designed to introduce 3 year old's to a new sport each week with a helping hand from Mom, Dad, or Grandparents! Children will have the opportunity to try T-Ball, Soccer, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Parachute Games, and more in a safe, structured, and FUN environment! This is an opportunity for you to spend quality time together while easing your child into social situations, build confidence, and find out what sports they enjoy the most!
Pee Wee Basketball (4-6 years of age): Focusing on participation, building confidence, and having fun, participants will learn the basic skills of basketball with Coach Emerson! Kids will learn the fundamentals of passing, dribbling, and shooting in basketball, all while being able to meet new friends, and learn in an active, non-competitive, and fun atmosphere.
Pee Wee Hockey (4-6 years of age): Focusing on participation, building confidence, and having fun, participants will learn the basic skills of floor hockey with Coach Emerson! Kids will learn the fundamentals of passing, ball control, and shooting in hockey, all while being able to meet new friends, and learn in an active, non-competitive, and fun atmosphere.
Intro to Tumbling and Active Movements (4-8 years of age) - Join us as we learn the basics of tumbling and active movements! Classes will incorporate the fundamental skills of balance, flexibility, and body control, which will provide the building blocks for furthering gymnastics and parkour skills. Students will work to improve flexibility, strength, body awareness, and focus on technique to ensure safety.
Wednesday Classes- November 10th - December 15th (Makeup class Dec 22nd if needed)

Kids in the Youth Sports Club will have the opportunity to try out favorites such as T-Ball, Soccer, Basketball, Floor Hockey, Bowling, and more in a safe, structured, and FUN environment!
