YOUTH SPORTS & ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS

The Middlesex YMCA offers a wide variety of Youth Sports programs as well as other enriching activities such as Judo, Cooking, Basketball, Climbing, Archery, Tee-Ball, Hockey, Kickball, and Tumbling among others. We work hard to create a fun and inviting atmosphere from the moment your child enters the class. Once your child is comfortable, our teachers will continue to provide enriching activities which emphasize personal growth, not just the advancement of skills.

Programs with a Purpose

Develop Self Confidence: Children are encouraged to use their imaginations and are helped, by their teachers, to create an environment where everyone can challenge themselves and achieve objectives every class.

Practice Social Skills: Receiving a "Good Job" compliment from the teacher can be very exciting, but giving a peer a "Way to Go!" cheer can be a new social experience. Children are encouraged and assisted in interacting with each other and making new friends.

Learn New Skills: Our youth activities are led by experienced professionals. Activities are age and developmentally appropriate while progressing throughout the lessons.

Have Fun: Many times the activities are so much fun your children won't know they are simultaneously developing their skills . Youth activities are about participation and exposure to new experiences. Your children will always leave the YMCA with a smile on their faces.
